'That was quite the awesome experience. Thanks for having me, Don Paul', the great and gracious Louis Michot wrote in an email after his and brother André Michot's participation in our recordings at Acadiana's Dockside Studio, July 31, 2024.

Now you're INVITED to hear DPRAM's work this year on our Album and Stage-Show, LOUISIANA STORIES ... Friday
evening, August 9, 7:00 to 9:00 in the upstairs EVOLVE space of New Orleans' Angela King Gallery. Angela, another great and gracious person and artist-as-human being, again supports efforts related to Sticking Up For Children. We'll have superb Frey Wine and good things to eat as excerpts from LOUISIANA STORIES'  Tracks and the whole of one, 'Colors Changing Color, play.

Happy sessioneers, 2, phot by JUSTIN, July 31, 2024.png

The sessions for LOUISIANA STORIES, the Album and Stage-Show, at Dockside Studio in Maurice, Louisiana, with engineer Justin Tocket, were, participants said, "Great", "Magic", "the beginning of something", "like an orchestra", and "all wonderful."

DPRAM (Don Paul, Roger Lewis, Kirk Joseph, Don Vappie and new band-member Alexey Marti ) were joined by guest artists Louis Michot and André Michot. Together the seven have among them six Albums and four Grammies since 2022. Dockside Studio has itself won a total of 21 Grammies.

Our guy on Drums-Set and Sound-Library, Herman Lebeaux, had to miss the sessions due to duties related to the passing of his father. We missed you, Herman!

One more word about this whole Rivers Answer Moons band of Roger, Kirk, Don, Herman, and now Alexey: they are "great" and "like an orchestra" and I'm so lucky to work with them.
